The typical weekend hunting package goes like this:  You arrive Friday afternoon, settle in and enjoy a steak dinner Friday night.  Awake at some ungodly hour on Saturday morning and head out to the fields before first light.  Hunt until around 9:00 or 9:30, come back to the lodge and sit down to a cowboy breakfast.  Then kick back for a while, take a nap or watch the games.  We will put out sandwich fixings before we head out to the fields in the afternoon.  You can hunt until sunset. Come on back and enjoy dinner.  Sunday morning it is the same thing, up before dawn and out to the fields.  Come back to that wonderful cowboy breakfast.  Then it is time to clean up and head home.

Last Year's Opening Weekend Hunt

Well, the 2009 opening weekend dove hunt is nothing but good memories now. The group in the North Lodge, which was mostly Georgia boys, shot a whopping 1400 birds.  It was a good hunt for everyone.  And the good hunting was combined with great home cooking.
